Project Controls Specialist

Tri-City Electric Co. is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Specialist to join our team in Des Moines, IA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking employee performance, supporting project managers, and ensuring the project schedule and budget align with objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring project elements adhere to the plan
  • Collaborating with project managers and employees
  • Monitoring and optimizing financial performance
  • Providing quality analysis and recommendations
  • Facilitating planning meetings and creating schedules
  • Communicating project status updates and recommending adjustments
  • Tracking project milestones and verifying quality control reviews

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 8 years of experience in project controls
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project controls
  • Proficiency in Primavera, SAP, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint
  • Experience presenting data and creating reports
  • OSHA 30 preferred or willingness to obtain

Candidates must possess strong attention to detail, tact, and consideration, as well as solid communication skills, positive initiative, and judgment.

This is a full-time salary position with a standard Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional evening and weekend work required.
