Razzino Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations, you will be responsible for leading our accounting department and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the accounting department, including the month-end financial close process and financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and financial data to provide meaningful insights to the CFO and executive team.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for the accounting team.
- Stay up-to-date with new accounting and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the company.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or postgraduate degree with CPA or equivalent certification.
- 7-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead a team and drive results.
- Experience with financial systems and software, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
