Key Responsibilities- Instrument Repair: Clean and repair a variety of musical instruments, including brass, woodwind, orchestral, and percussion instruments.
- Estimating and Scheduling: Provide accurate estimates for repair work and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Customer Service: Work with customers to understand their repair needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Instrument Handling: Safely handle and store musical instruments, including lifting and moving heavy instruments.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all repair work meets our high standards of quality.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 6 years of experience working on musical instruments on a daily basis.
- Training: Apprenticeship or diploma from an accredited repair school.
- Physical Demands: Standing, sitting, walking, lifting, pushing, and pulling instruments and cases up to 75 pounds.
- Environmental Factors: Working in a noise environment with mild cleaning chemical smells.
- Competitive Pay: $30.00/hr plus commission depending on location, background, and experience.
