The dynamic nature of our work, spanning sales, engineering, marketing, and manufacturing, makes our roles invigorating. As a mid-sized manufacturing entity, we prioritize direct collaboration among our workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Address inquiries for technical support by providing guidance and recommendations for corrective measures.
- Offer subject matter expertise to create, review, and refine technical service and equipment documentation related to service methodologies and diagnostic instruments.
- Travel to client locations as necessary to assist field technicians in diagnosing and resolving complex product performance challenges.
- Design and deliver training sessions on equipment initiation, maintenance, and servicing.
- Occasionally evaluate the performance of field technicians to ensure adherence to best practices, providing constructive feedback and suggestions to supervisors and managers.
- Support the GFS Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with our Quality System Manual and Quality Procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- An Associate's degree in a relevant field coupled with over 7 years of experience in field service, technical customer support, or engineering.
- Experience may be substituted for educational qualifications at a rate of 2 years of experience for each year of formal education.
- Capability to instruct and assess the performance of remote team members.
