About the Role
PACCAR is a global leader in the commercial vehicle, financial, and customer service fields. We are seeking an IT Operations Specialist to join our team in Renton, WA.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate issues with Mainframe Batch Processing using distributed scheduling tools.
- Assist with cross-platform administration, including WinTel, UNIX, Mainframe, AS400, and Linux.
- Transfer technical knowledge, processes, and procedures to junior staff.
- Design and implement recovery procedures for the PACCAR IT Knowledge Base.
- Perform proactive measures to improve operational efficiency and increase ECC incident resolution rates.
- Participate in or lead projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on IT technical experience.
- Experience with CICS, IMS, DB2, DBRC, SMS, DBCTRL, IBM Utilities, TSO CLIST, REXX, JCL, RACF, FDRABR, ADRDSSU, VTCS, CONNECT DIRECT, BMC-CTD, BMC-ISPW, EDI, IMS UTILITIES, EZTRIEVE, SYNCSORT, OMEGAMON, DFHSM, and DADS.
- Familiarity with Database platforms, specifically IMS, DB2, SQL, and Oracle.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Team player; good customer service skills.
- Familiarity with Critical Incident and Problem Management processes.
- Experience with Diagnostic Troubleshooting.
- Excellent Communication skills: ability to write Technical Materials to develop Procedures, Resolutions, and Documentation.

The salary range for the IT Operations Analyst - Mainframe Recovery is $75,100 - $112,300 annually.
