Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Accounts Payable team as a Disbursement Coordinator. This role will be responsible for coordinating and providing quality control for disbursed Accounts Payable checks, under the supervision of the Accounts Payable Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disburse Accounts Payable checks based on provided check routing instructions via secure delivery methods.
  • Receive and process utility invoices, scanning them into our accounting system and routing them to the appropriate team member for processing.
  • Verify and match Accounts Payable checks to supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor and maintain postage meter funds to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager.
Requirements
  • A minimum of one year of office experience, with some accounting experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong 10-key calculator skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
