Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a survey crew, ensuring accurate and timely completion of surveying tasks.
  • Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including total stations and data collectors.
  • Conduct and oversee surveying activities for large infrastructure projects, including roadway, utilities, and land development.
  • Implement high-definition scanning techniques and processes as required.
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to provide precise measurements and data.
  • Train and mentor junior crew members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies on all projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of survey reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Survey Crew Chief or similar role, with a solid background in surveying for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in operating total stations, data collectors, and other surveying equipment.
  • Familiarity with high-definition scanning techniques is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to submit to a background check.
