Amplify People is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key player in driving business growth, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with specifiers such as builders, architects, and interior designers.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have experience in relationship management, account management, or customer-facing roles within the design or construction industries. A strong understanding of the construction or design industry, particularly working with specifiers (builders, designers, remodelers), is also an asset.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 to $55,000 plus commission. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) or IRA with company matching, paid time off (PTO), and access to cutting-edge technology at cost for personal use.

About the Role

In this non-sales role, you will focus on nurturing connections and creating opportunities for our sales team to convert into business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key specifiers (builders, architects, designers)
  • Attending industry events, lunches, dinners, and other social activities to network with potential clients
  • Generating leads through cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and other forms of communication
  • Serving as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring they feel valued and connected to the company
  • Collaborating closely with the sales and design teams, ensuring leads are passed on smoothly and efficiently
