This position entails the review and approval of CPT & ICD-10 codes submitted by healthcare providers, managing claim denials, addressing patient inquiries, and overseeing outstanding insurance accounts receivable. Compensation and Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and resolve patient billing discrepancies.
2. Assess patients' financial situations and create budget payment plans.
3. Analyze insurance company denials and prepare necessary appeals.
4. Review and correct rejected claims to ensure successful resubmission.

Work Environment:
This role is situated in a medical office setting, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications:
Skills and Experience:
Candidates should possess a minimum of one year of hands-on medical billing experience or relevant certification from AAPC or AHIMA. A strong understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding standards, Modifier application, and CCI bundling edits is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Familiarity with GE-Centricity/Athena practice management software is advantageous but not mandatory. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is beneficial.

Education:
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
