Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and senior commercial leader to join our team as Vice President, Commercial Insights, Advanced Analytics and Forecasting. This role will play a critical part in shaping our Commercial Insights and Analytics organization, driving growth across our U.S. Business Unit portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation and successful execution of a Center of Excellence (COE) for Commercial Insights, Advanced Analytics, and Forecasting.
  • Develop and align executive leadership on the newly created Patient Finding COE, including scope of responsibilities, remit, governance, and staffing requirements.
  • Recruit, motivate, develop, and retain a team of highly skilled commercial operations and analytics professionals.
  • Partner with Digital and Data teams to bring latest analytics and market research techniques to power the business, automate analytics, and standardize and real-time analytics.
  • Build and lead a high-performing market research and forecasting function that serves as a primary source of business insight and planning for the commercial organization.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to senior leadership.
Requirements
  • BS/BA degree in business or related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Fifteen (15) or more years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries, including at least 5-7 years in forecasting, market research, or analytics senior leadership roles.
  • Biopharmaceutical commercial capabilities at a leadership level is required.
  • Experience in and understanding of other commercial functions, such as marketing, market access, sales operations, sales training, insights/analytics, and business development.
  • Experience building new centers of excellence teams, optimizing capabilities, and leading organization change.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead teams and have the managerial courage to make and stand by difficult decisions.
  • Highly skilled in influencing cross-functional, highly matrixed teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific and commercial teams.
  • Fluent in a modern marketing tech stack overall, but with specific knowledge of data pipeline and analytics tools, combined with an ability to foster the increased use of such tools within the business.
  • Ability to build and communicate data-driven decisions, including clear view of the pros and cons associated with various alternatives.
  • Must be a resourceful, creative problem solver who seeks out, and is receptive to, new ideas and approaches to solving persistent challenges.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $252,000.00 to $396,000.00, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits.
