Key Responsibilities:

The Customer Experience Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for all customer service operations, addressing both pre-sale and post-sale inquiries. This role demands a blend of skills, including exceptional interpersonal abilities, strong written and verbal communication, and effective problem-solving capabilities.

Reporting Structure: Chief Revenue Officer

Compensation: $17.56 to $23.23 per hour, depending on experience

Essential Duties:

  • Lead incoming customer inquiries via phone and in-person
  • Manage customer communications through email and online chat
  • Oversee the flow of walk-in customers
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers post-purchase
  • Address and resolve customer complaints professionally
  • Maintain sales pipelines, leads, and warranty information
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Sales Team as needed
  • Research and identify online sales leads
  • Input leads from various platforms into the CRM system
  • Assist in managing CRM functionalities, reporting, and automation
  • Coordinate the customer gifting program
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Strong phone communication skills and active listening
  • Proven experience in customer support or client service roles
  • Customer-focused with the ability to adapt to diverse personalities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Flexibility to extend responsibilities beyond the sales department for overall company benefit

All responsibilities must be executed at the corporate office; this position does not offer remote work options.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Minimum of five years in customer service required
  • Familiarity with NetSuite CRM preferred
  • Experience in LED lighting and solar energy is advantageous
