Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician - Non-Invasive Cardiology Specialist to join our team at Spectrum Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan. As a key member of our cardiovascular medicine department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our heart health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary health care services and consultation for patients and families, focusing on wellness and health promotion and surgical care services as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with our team of cardiovascular specialists to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with heart conditions.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical students and residents in cardiovascular medicine.
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in medicine from an accredited medical school.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in cardiovascular medicine, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Michigan.
  • Board certification in cardiology or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
