Client Relations Specialist

BRT Extrusions, Inc. is a prominent National Aluminum Extrusion manufacturing firm. We are seeking a full-time, skilled Client Relations Specialist to enhance our growing Customer Service Department. If you possess a dynamic and motivated spirit, we encourage you to explore this opportunity.

This role is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime compensation.

The salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.

Role Responsibilities:

The individual in this position will be responsible for processing orders and interacting with clients under the guidance of the Inside Sales Manager. This role involves following up to provide support, addressing inquiries or concerns, and collaborating closely with the sales team to streamline processes and assist clients throughout the order lifecycle and beyond. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional overtime required based on business needs.

Qualifications for Success:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in business-to-business customer service is essential.
  • Experience in telephone sales or customer service is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in data entry with accuracy and efficiency is required.
  • Familiarity with MS Word and Excel is necessary.
  • Self-motivation and a drive to achieve both short- and long-term business objectives are crucial.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Effective relationship-building skills are required.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage and relate to a diverse customer base, primarily over the phone.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Capability to assist both internal and external clients in a pleasant and efficient manner.
  • Experience in manufacturing is advantageous, and training on aluminum extrusion specifics will be provided.
  • Order entry and data entry experience is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and purchasing agents.
  • Address customer complaints and challenges swiftly and accurately.
  • Foster lasting relationships with clients to facilitate upselling opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed established performance goals and objectives.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding our products.
  • Ensure accurate data entry.
  • Perform any additional administrative tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Individuals in this role should be able to walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently. Awareness of surroundings and sounds in the work environment is essential. The position may require lifting up to 10 lbs occasionally and frequent movement within an office setting as needed for essential duties. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary. This role will involve regular use of office equipment, including phones, faxes, and computers, as part of the essential functions.
