Job Summary

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Clinic Supervisor with University Health System- San Antonio, you will oversee a team of LVNs in a designated clinic setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care according to physician orders. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to enforce policies and procedures, as well as a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned LVN staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of nursing care.
  • Communicate and enforce University Health System- San Antonio policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including staff performance evaluations and patient care data.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and staff development.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Vocational Nursing.
  • At least two years of experience in an outpatient setting, with a preference for supervisory experience or progressive responsibilities.
  • Current license to practice Vocational Nursing in the State of Texas.
  • Maintain current CPR Certification and ACLS certification is preferred.
