Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direction and leadership to Medical Assistants
  • Coordinate patient referrals and processes requests for referral authorizations
  • Assist physicians with preparing patients for examination, treatment, or procedures
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Perform care coordination activities, including notifying patients and providers of authorization decisions
  • Lead the Medical Assistants in each clinic to improve patient flow and monitor workflow to ensure efficiency and timeliness
Requirements
  • LVN License in state of employment or compact
  • BLS certification

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care and leadership to the Medical Assistant team.
