Key Responsibilities- Provide direction and leadership to Medical Assistants
- Coordinate patient referrals and processes requests for referral authorizations
- Assist physicians with preparing patients for examination, treatment, or procedures
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records
- Perform care coordination activities, including notifying patients and providers of authorization decisions
- Lead the Medical Assistants in each clinic to improve patient flow and monitor workflow to ensure efficiency and timeliness
- LVN License in state of employment or compact
- BLS certification
This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care and leadership to the Medical Assistant team.
