Job Summary

This position requires a skilled and experienced LVN to provide leadership and direction to Medical Assistants in a fast-paced clinical environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient referrals, processing authorization requests, and ensuring efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient referrals and authorization requests through the Managed Care System
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including vital sign documentation and assessment
  • Assist physicians with patient care, including EKGs, stress tests, and casting
  • Perform care coordination activities, including chronic care management and transitional care management services
  • Lead the Medical Assistants in each clinic, monitoring workflow and initiating staffing changes as needed
Requirements
  • CERT LVN License in state of employment or compact
  • BLS certification
