Job Title: Principal Research Optometrist

Bausch + Lomb, a leading global eye health company, is seeking a highly skilled Principal Research Optometrist to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for designing and conducting clinical studies to support the development of new eye care products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute clinical studies to support research and development projects
  • Analyze and interpret clinical study data, communicate results to cross-functional R&D teams, and write technical reports
  • Interface with R&D technical teams on project needs, interpret voice of customer data, and end product requirements
  • Develop and write documents required for clinical studies, including protocols and reports
  • Conduct statistical analysis of study data and interpret results
  • Assist in preparing regulatory documents and IRB application materials
  • Represent clinical on cross-functional R&D project teams and provide directional feedback
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree required
  • Active Optometry license in New York State or ability to become licensed
  • 0-2 years' of clinical research experience
  • Clinical study design, clinical research, and statistical analysis skills
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
What We Offer:
