We are seeking a talented researcher to join our team in the Division of Supportive Care in Cancer at the University of Rochester. This is an exciting opportunity to make significant contributions to cancer-related dissemination and implementation science.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of independent external funding, a strong publication record, and the ability to provide community and institutional service. They will also have experience in implementation science and a research focus on the dissemination and implementation of novel and effective interventions in the context of oncology.
Topic areas of high interest include the implementation and dissemination of cancer prevention, cancer control, and cancer-supportive care interventions.
Division HighlightsThe Division of Supportive Care in Cancer is a highly collaborative team with 17 faculty members and trainees. We have a strong track record of joint publications and multiple principal investigator grants. Our team is dedicated to developing and leading cutting-edge research in cancer control, prevention, and supportive care.
We have a range of resources available to support our researchers, including PhD-level and Masters-level biostatisticians, dedicated IT and regulatory support, and access to cutting-edge labs in translational biomarker research and human performance assessment and interventions.
Our team is also committed to mentoring and training the next generation of researchers, with opportunities to serve as a mentor in our T32 Clinical and Translational Cancer Control Research Training Program.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, applicants must have a PhD, MD, DO, or equivalent doctoral degree, a strong track record of independent external funding, and a strong publication record. They must also have experience in implementation science and a research focus on the dissemination and implementation of novel and effective interventions in the context of oncology.
Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
