Compliance and Reporting Specialist

At GeorgiaGov, we are seeking a skilled Compliance and Reporting Specialist to coordinate the rollout of new or updated reporting requirements and mechanisms across the Exchange and with division staff to collect and aggregate data while supporting annual programmatic and financial audits.
As a Compliance and Reporting Specialist, you will implement defined processes for collecting and presenting data from division staff to monitor program compliance and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the Exchange.
You will develop and implement federal compliance reporting processes, including collating enrollment metrics, performance monitoring data, financial reports, and accounting records.
Additionally, you will coordinate with relevant division staff to prepare annual and ad hoc reports, including enrollment metrics, financial reports, and accounting records.
You will also coordinate with division staff to collect required Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)required financial and programmatic audit materials.
Ensuring compliance with state and federal reporting regulations is a critical aspect of this role.
You will identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop and implement corrective action plans.
Furthermore, you will prepare and present detailed reports on compliance status, audit findings, and corrective actions to management.
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential to ensure proactive risk management and compliance.
This role requires an Associate degree from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Compliance Business Analyst 2 (RCP031) or position equivalent.
