Police Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:
As a Police Compliance Specialist with the City of Atlanta, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our department adheres to all relevant regulations and guidelines. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify information stored on GCIC by monitoring validation reports and completing form letters as needed.
- Write supplemental reports to upgrade information and ensure accuracy.
- Conduct criminal history checks and maintain up-to-date knowledge of entry and removal of records information.
- File criminal reports, fingerprint cards, and other miscellaneous information.
- Analyze and evaluate data fields of GCIC/NCIC records and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check.
