Role Responsibilities

  • Delivering comprehensive assistance to the Chief Executive Officer by managing their calendar with discretion, coordinating meetings and events, arranging travel, and overseeing expense management.
  • Facilitating both short-term and long-term operational, financial, and strategic initiatives by tracking critical deliverables and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Enhancing internal meeting structures, agendas, and communications.
  • Coordinating and executing team-building activities and retreats as requested by the CEO.
  • Managing relationships with property management and external office service providers.
  • Ensuring a welcoming guest experience for visitors, whether in-person or via video conferencing.
  • Monitoring budgets and financial reports for supported functions.
  • Assisting in scaling the organization by researching, implementing, and documenting new administrative resources, tools, policies, and procedures.
  • Providing administrative and project management support to Business Operations and Finance as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting executives at the CEO or C-Level.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams), G-Suite, and other office systems.
  • Dependable and highly accessible, available during standard working hours and after hours as necessary.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment while exercising sound judgment.
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in professional services or venture capital is advantageous, particularly in lieu of experience with a high-growth biotech startup.
