Our client, a world leader in laboratory equipment and services, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their team. This role will focus on direct sales of mechanical surface characterization instrumentation and services to customers in Southern CA, AZ, UT, and CO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solicit and obtain orders from customers
- Understand and interpret technical requirements
- Provide technical solutions and training to customers
- Ensure customer satisfaction and develop accounts
Requirements:
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate with PhD level scientists and QC technicians
- Technical background in testing, mechanical engineering, or material science
- Ability to train customers on complex instrumentation
- Frequent overnight travel required
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Materials Science, Engineering, Physics, or similar technical field
- At least 2 years' experience in technical sales of analytical instrumentation
- Prior sales experience in mechanical characterization is a plus
Compensation Package:
