Department: Campus Recreation
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
Application Status: Open until filled
Overview:
This role is under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Club Sports and collaborates with Campus Recreation professionals and club officers.
The Ultimate Frisbee Club operates within Campus Recreation and is distinct from the Athletics department. The club welcomes all participants and features an A team that competes against other universities regionally, alongside a B team that focuses on recreational play and beginner engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate skill enhancement for college students across varying skill levels.
• Organize and ensure safe and suitable practice sessions.
• Mentor and supervise club members during activities.
• Attend all scheduled practices and competitions.
• Respond to emergencies by executing evacuation procedures and providing First-Aid, CPR, and AED as certified.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
• Prior experience in coaching or participating in the sport.
• Flexibility, availability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain First-Aid, CPR, AED, and Blood Borne Pathogen certifications within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
