About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Bob's Discount Furniture. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving sales growth, and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and engage customers, understanding their home furnishing needs and providing personalized recommendations to meet their design vision.
  • Provide world-class customer service, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, leveraging exceptional product knowledge, interpersonal skills, and active listening to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a customer base through proactive networking and follow-up, ensuring customer loyalty and retention.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to generate sales, focusing on customer needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Energetic and self-motivated sales professional with exceptional interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
  • Ability to network and build relationships with customers, driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Competitive and goal-oriented nature, with a strong ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work a 5-day retail schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic computer skills and previous sales experience in a retail commission-based sales environment (a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
