Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing plans and specifications, performing analysis, and providing reports on assigned tasks involving design and construction of new facilities or operation and maintenance of existing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements plans and specifications for protection and control systems
  • Performs analysis and provides reports on assigned tasks
  • Resolves complex issues related to equipment and operational problems
  • Communicates with regulatory bodies and government agencies
  • Acts as a resource for members with less experience
  • Plans, prioritizes, conducts, and leads assignments
  • Serves as project or case manager in the development, facilitation, and implementation of metrics, processes, and procedures
  • Provides technical presentations to elected officials, appointed boards/commissions, the public, and staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 6 years related engineering experience (at least 4 years as an Engineer and a maximum of 2 years related experience)
  • Valid State Drivers License
  • Professional Engineer designation

This position may require travel, working non-standard work schedules, and exposure to extreme conditions and inclement weather.
