Job Title:

Quality Assurance Technician

Job Summary:

Blasch Precision Ceramics, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for assessing and maintaining the quality of new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Part and process inspection to support production quality
  • Review manufacturing processes for correct procedures and highlight areas for improvement
  • Communicate findings to team leaders and participate in communication with manufacturing, engineering, and other departments as required
  • Support and train QC inspectors with critical inspection tasks and address inspection questions
  • Investigate quality issues by assisting with process challenges and improvements
  • Assist in implementing process control methods and tools in production
  • Conduct quality ISO audits as required
  • Be aware of and address quality issues as they arise and help in resolving and communicating these
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or GED qualified
  • Desire and willingness to learn, in a predetermined probation period, the minimum skills required to meet and maintain acceptable quality and productivity standards
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate work instructions and documented process cards with special instructions
  • Visually able to identify voids, cracks, and deformations on all surfaces of parts formed
  • Ability to lift 50lbs. unassisted
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous ceramic manufacturing experience of 1 or more years
  • Previous experience in a non-assembly line manufacturing environment
Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
