ACV Auctions is in search of a passionate Inspector with a keen interest in automobiles who is eager to be part of a growing organization.

Responsibilities:
Actively and consistently support all initiatives aimed at simplifying and enhancing the customer experience.

Collaborating with a Territory Manager and a team of Inspectors, conduct thorough inspections of vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-lease locations to identify damage, missing components, and mechanical issues.

Prepare and submit detailed reports on vehicle condition, repair/replacement cost estimates, and related documentation.
Assist the sales team in promoting additional services and products
Regularly interface with our dealers to foster client satisfaction and build strong relationships.

Travel to and from dealerships and residences to perform inspections and generate condition reports, listing vehicles for sale on the auction platform.

Capture multiple overall and damage photographs, associate them with the respective vehicle, and upload them to the image server using the company-issued smartphone.

List inspected wholesale vehicles on the ACV Auctions platform for bidding and purchasing.
Enroll independent dealerships as buyers to utilize ACV Auctions' digital platform.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1 year of experience in the automotive sector (body, paint, and mechanical repair knowledge) with a background in customer service
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
Problem-solving skills to address challenges with creativity and resourcefulness.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being part of a team.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand customer needs and expectations.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required
No prior DUI/DWI offenses and no restrictions on driving commercial vehicles
Familiarity with system capabilities, relevant software packages, and web-based applications.
Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
Vision capabilities necessary to accurately identify small defects around and beneath vehicles.

Compensation:
$20.00 per hour. This position is eligible for additional compensation under ACV's incentive compensation plan. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on the applicant's relevant experience, skill set, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
