As a Medical Social Worker, you will be instrumental in establishing care plans in line with the physician's treatment strategy, ensuring that every patient's unique needs and circumstances are carefully considered.

In times of crisis, you will be the pillar of support for patients and their families, providing much-needed intervention and understanding.

Responsibilities

  1. Help physicians and caregivers understand and address the social, emotional, and economic factors that impact the patient's medical progress.
  2. Connect patients with vital community resources, ensuring they have access to everything they need to thrive.
  3. Nurture the patient's relationship with their family and caregivers, fostering a caring and supportive environment that enhances the healing process.

Qualifications

To embark on this inspiring mission, you must hold a master's degree from an accredited school approved by the Council on Social Work Education. Current licensure to practice in the state of Indiana is also required.

We value experience, and one year of social work in a healthcare setting is preferred. Home care experience will be a significant advantage.

CPR certification is essential, ensuring we provide the highest standard of care.
