Role SummaryThe Director of Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is responsible for leading clinical initiatives and must possess experience in facilitating therapeutic groups, as well as a deep understanding of dual diagnosis and mental health disorders within a partial hospitalization framework. This role demands a high level of independence, crisis management skills, and a thorough comprehension of various psychiatric care levels. The Director is expected to be a master's level clinician with significant expertise in treating patients with mental health and substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct staff meetings and oversee clinical rounds.
- Manage chart audits and ensure the accuracy of patient documentation.
- Supervise clinical personnel and graduate interns.
- Maintain a manageable caseload of four to five patients, contingent on program census.
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including diagnosis, treatment planning, case management, and discharge planning.
- Execute utilization reviews as required.
- Lead therapeutic groups focused on mental health and substance use recovery.
- Ensure adherence to standards set by external credentialing organizations, including insurers and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with insurance providers to meet necessary requirements.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to determine the appropriate level of care for patients.
- Fulfill both administrative and clinical responsibilities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education: A master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of two years of clinical experience in addiction or mental health treatment programs, including partial hospitalization or group counseling, is required. Additionally, one to two years of supervisory experience is necessary.
Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
Licenses and CertificationsRequired: LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC.
