About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. They will be responsible for developing and executing approved action plans, working closely with the Purchasing department to identify and order long-lead items, and communicating project status to management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develops, coordinates, and executes approved action plans to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Status Documentation and Communication: Documents and communicates project status, including obstacles and solutions, to management and stakeholders.
  • Project Management Skills: Applies traditional project management techniques, including organizing and planning, setting goals, monitoring progress, assessing risks, and proactively resolving issues.
  • Manufacturing and Supply Chain Knowledge: Has a basic understanding of manufacturing supply chains and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, essential for project scheduling and procurement alignment.
  • Leadership and Team Collaboration: Self-motivated with a positive attitude, capable of leading and motivating cross-functional teams toward common objectives.

Education Requirements:

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a project management, scheduling, or production planning role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Project Management Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management), which would demonstrate expertise in project planning, execution, and cross-functional team management.
