Compliance and Ethics Leader

Carters Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Ethics Leader to join our team. As a key member of our compliance program, you will be responsible for maturing our compliance programs and ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to functional areas on compliance obligations and develop training programs to ensure awareness and adherence.
  • Manage compliance systems and platforms, including ethics and compliance hotlines, email boxes, and training modules.
  • Develop and deploy ethics and compliance training, including annual training calendars and coordination with training vendors.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant corporate compliance and ethics experience.
  • Proven analytical and project management skills, with ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and manage dockets and deadlines.
  • Proficient with MS Suite and compliance technology platforms.
  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional designation.
  • Internal audit or similar experience.
