Job Title: Regional Property Risk Engineering Manager

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Regional Property Risk Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Engineering department, you will be responsible for managing a team of risk engineering specialists and providing comprehensive risk insight to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of risk engineering specialists to provide risk insight and manage performance across all activities.
  • Translate business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs, or schedules to support achievement of a work area.
  • Implement initiatives to improve processes, develop policies, and support innovation in the risk engineering field.
  • Analyze key themes from data around risks and loss to identify potential impacts on the business.
  • Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure effective relationships and progress on all business fronts.
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams to develop risk management strategies.
  • Oversee resource allocation in a geographic area and ensure the overall delivery and quality of services to customers and business partners.
  • Conduct opportunity spotting and cross-selling with customers and business partners to contribute to business operating profit.
  • Represent Risk Engineering in the marketplace and position its value proposition with key business partners.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 or more years of experience in Property Risk Management Services.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in Property Risk Management Services.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of experience in risk engineering, including expertise in managing large property exposures, implementing control measures, and utilizing best practice risk improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the risk management, risk transfer, and loss control industry from a risk engineering perspective.
  • People management experience.
  • Agile with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and career pathing skills.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship building, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong MS Office experience and ability to learn and navigate technology systems.
Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. varies depending on a wide array of factors, including office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles. For additional information about our Total Rewards, click here. Other rewards may include short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education.

The starting salary range for this position is $110,700.00 - $181,400.00.
