Intellectual Property Associate

We are seeking a highly qualified 2nd or 3rd year associate to join our Intellectual Property group, which focuses primarily on life sciences and biotechnology. This role involves working with fast-growing clients in areas such as pharmaceutical small molecule products, biologicals, gene therapy therapeutics, and medical devices.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and prosecute patent applications
  • Conduct patent searches and analyses
  • Develop and implement IP strategies for clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategic IP assets
Qualifications:
  • USPTO admission or eligibility to sit for the exam
  • BS or PhD in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, immunology, organic chemistry, or protein engineering
  • Background in biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies a plus
  • Outstanding academic credentials and excellent communication skills
