Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a key member of our Respiratory Therapy Department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' respiratory status and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Implement and manage respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on respiratory care and disease management.
Requirements
  • National Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification or National Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification.
  • Associate degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
  • 1 year of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
