Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist with TotalMed Staffing, you will play a crucial role in improving respiratory health outcomes for patients with breathing disorders. Your responsibilities will include assessing, treating, and caring for patients, as well as educating patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate patients with respiratory disorders to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, such as oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy.
Monitor patients' respiratory status, vital signs, and response to therapy, adjusting treatment as needed.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement comprehensive respiratory care plans for optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

CRT and RRT certifications
BLS certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required)
Two years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
Strong communication and adaptability skills
