Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the buildings and grounds in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. This will involve performing minor and routine maintenance activities, including painting, plumbing, janitorial, and appliance upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the buildings and grounds are in good condition. This will include painting, plumbing, janitorial, and appliance upkeep.
  2. Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent costly repairs.
  3. Work Orders and Requests: Process and complete maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Supply Management: Requisition and purchase necessary supplies and equipment, subject to supervisor approval.
  5. Communication: Notify the Community Manager of safety-related issues and lease agreement violations.
  6. After-Hours Calls: Respond promptly to after-hours calls and complete necessary repairs.
Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years of related experience in a trade such as electrical, plumbing, and painting, or technical school.
  • An Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A valid Driver's License and insurance.
