Associate Professor and Director of the Academy of Transdisciplinary Studies

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Associate Professor and Director of the Academy of Transdisciplinary Studies. The successful candidate will be a tenured faculty member in one of the departments or schools in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Teach a variety of courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including those related to the human impacts of digital technologies.
- Conduct research and scholarship in the area of digital technologies and their impact on human experience.
- Develop and implement transdisciplinary curricula and programs in the Academy of Transdisciplinary Studies.
- Provide administrative leadership and support for the Academy, including personnel, budget, and facility management.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff across the university to advance transdisciplinary research and teaching initiatives.
- Doctoral degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Record of scholarship and teaching experience meriting the rank of tenured Associate Professor in a school or department in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences.
- Demonstrated teaching, research, and outreach related to the human impacts of technology.
- Demonstrated commitment to transdisciplinary academic inquiry.
- Experience with curriculum development and governance.
- Experience with budgets and business processes.
