Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and collaborate with engineers and scientists
  • Teach courses to statistics majors and graduate students from other departments
  • Develop and manage partnerships between external partners and academia
  • Participate in professional societies and technical communities

Requirements

  • PhD or higher in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a closely related field
  • Significant industrial collaboration and/or teaching experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interacting with a diverse student or client population
  • Ability to teach training courses to non-statisticians
  • Leadership and conference attendance in professional societies and technical communities
