The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking applications for a full-time faculty role in Veterinary Medical Oncology at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team within a leading veterinary medical institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the advancement of clinical services with a focus on translational research.
- Engage in research activities that may involve collaboration with veterinary clinicians, medical professionals, and scientific researchers.
- Provide consultations to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and external veterinary practices.
- Participate in educational programs and faculty governance activities.
- Deliver instruction in oncology to DVM students, interns, residents, and graduate students, including both didactic and clinical teaching.
Qualifications:
- DVM or equivalent degree required.
- Completion of an accredited residency in veterinary medical oncology.
