Construction Inventory Control Manager

The Contractor Consultants is seeking a skilled Purchasing and Inventory Management professional to oversee the procurement and inventory control processes for our construction tools and equipment. This role is responsible for managing purchasing, pricing, and warehousing activities across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage purchasing of all product lines, office supplies, and warehouse equipment.
- Negotiate prices and update pricing structures with suppliers.
- Administer inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate inter-store transfers.
- Oversee warehouse staff and expedite vendor shipments.
- Process purchase orders, update inventory systems, and track pricing changes.
- Handle manufacturer complaints and coordinate warranty and return procedures.
- Conduct regular stock evaluations and maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Knowledge of tools such as Milwaukee, Klein tools, and Lenox.
- Leadership skills and management experience.
- Proficiency in computer systems, especially inventory management software.
- Strong verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle job stress and customer complaints.
- Noisy environment requiring focus and attention to detail.
- Ability to work overtime with short notice when needed.
- Regularly lift packages up to 50 pounds and climb stairs.
