Job Summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Team Member to join our Truck Service team. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for assisting with inventory management responsibilities, including cycle counts, check-in orders, processing inventory receipts, and maintaining the parts room. Your goal will be to ensure that we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came.

Key Responsibilities

Review work orders from previous shifts for accuracy and completeness
Process purchase orders and requests for documentation (DRs), reconcile invoices for payment, research negative on-hand inventory discrepancies, research chargebacks, and process inventory adjustments
Assist in taking inventory, inventory cycle counting, ordering, receiving, marking (PLU number), and storing merchandise; process inventory transfers, including warranty work

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays, in interior and exterior conditions
Valid driver's license

Work Environment

While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc.
