Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team at US Foods. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for fostering customer relationships, managing deliveries, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster customer relationships and build trust through regular communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage deliveries to ensure timely and efficient product delivery to customers.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales to provide value-added services to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including District Sales Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and VP of Local Sales, to achieve sales goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
  • Problem-solving ability/organization and negotiation skills.
  • Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products - Experience using Customer relationship management tools preferred (ie, Salesforce).

Working Conditions

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, including variable weather and temperature conditions. The ability to lift up to 75lbs and drive a motor vehicle is also required.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this role is between $66,000 and $99,000, and is eligible for commissions. Benefits include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
