Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Communications Specialist to join our team in Parkland, WA. This full-time position will involve working closely with students who require speech and language support under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the SLP to deliver therapy services and implement tailored plans for each student.
  • Support students in achieving their communication goals by participating in individual and group sessions.
  • Document progress and provide regular updates to the educational staff and parents.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to collaborative efforts with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

Requirements:

  • A valid Washington SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to helping students achieve their potential.
