We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Puyallup, WA. As a Speech Language Pathologist with AB Staffing Solutions, you will have the opportunity to work in a local school setting and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and addressing speech and language delays that interfere with a student's ability to benefit from the educational program. This may include conducting individual and group therapy sessions, developing personalized solutions, and providing progress reports.

About the Role:

  • You will be working as an independent contractor, providing services to students in need of speech and language support.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to identify and address speech and language barriers that may be hindering a student's academic success.
  • You will work closely with educators and support staff to develop and implement tailored solutions for each student.
  • You will be expected to maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or a related field is required.
  • You must hold or be able to obtain a teaching certificate with OSPI, including the appropriate endorsement.
  • Washington State Educational Staff Associate Certification (ESA) is also required.
  • BLS/CPR Certification is necessary.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $80-$90, based on your experience. You will also be eligible for bonuses upon starting and completing your contract.
