Clinical Communication Specialist

At MultiCare Health System, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Clinical Communication Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide clinical services and communicate with patients, families, and other professionals/service providers in the medical community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, interpretation, and reporting of clinical observations
- Perform patient assessments with physician and develop treatment plans
- Perform and interpret results of Videofluoroscopic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing
Requirements:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association OR be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with supervision by a CCC-SP in accordance with standards defined by the ASHA
- Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Washington or holding an interim permit
- Previous Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred
Pay and Benefits:
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The estimated annual salary for this position is $96,000 - $135,200 based on 40 hours/week, 52 weeks/year, depending on experience.
