Custodial Specialist for Senior Living Community

Position Type: FULL-TIME (Sunday thru Thursday, 7am to 3pm)

At Caltcm, our Custodial Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents, their families, and our staff. This position is not just about cleaning; it’s about enhancing the quality of life for our residents through a safe and inviting atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning duties in resident suites, communal areas, and support spaces while adhering to Caltcm's high standards of cleanliness.
  • Manage the collection, cleaning, and redistribution of community laundry.
  • Assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care as needed.
  • Collaborate with the community team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote risk management initiatives.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understanding of hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in providing cleaning and laundry services in a resident-focused environment.
  • Genuine desire to work with seniors and enhance their living experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and communicate clearly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
  • Capacity to work independently while following established procedures and guidelines.
