Overview:

Job Title:
AISR Operations Coordinator - Tier I

Job Location:
Remote

Job Responsibilities:

Facilitates the Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) Operations Support Center (OCS) and is accountable for optimizing various ISR resources utilizing the DoDIN framework to fulfill their objectives.

The AISR Operations Coordinator serves as the comprehensive AISR communication hub and primary incident manager for AISR transport challenges.

This position emphasizes diagnosing network/system complications, determining the most effective strategy to restore services, escalating issues to the appropriate tier II technician/service desk, and documenting/reporting restoration efforts and mission implications to senior leadership.

This role ensures situational awareness and communicates the health, status, and availability of essential AISR transport terrestrial, satellite gateways, and Full Motion Video (FMV) and other sensor data distribution, including the identification of hazardous conditions (HAZCON).

The AISR Operations Coordinator also evaluates and communicates unscheduled outages to the watch desk and provides simultaneous near-real-time situational awareness to the AISR community through designated collaboration tools.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

Dissemination of pertinent AISR information, coordination, support, and resolution of scheduled maintenance while reporting unscheduled events to strategic and regional AISR mission partners in collaboration with the management team.

Minimum Qualifications:
Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.

Due to the nature of the work and US Government requirements, US Citizenship is mandatory.

A minimum of two to four years of relevant experience.

Fundamental understanding of IP circuits and routers.

DoD 8570 IAT-II certification (Security+, CCNA-Security, etc.) is required to commence.

Desired Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess the ability to multitask and prioritize workload, including monitoring multiple Network Monitoring Systems, responding to customer inquiries via various communication systems, maintaining situational awareness through secure chat platforms, and utilizing documentation systems to log all actions taken to identify and resolve service-affecting incidents.

This role is expected to conduct advanced troubleshooting and network analysis to pinpoint impact areas for outages and maintenance actions not coordinated with management, along with steps necessary to mitigate service-affecting outages, degradations, or urgent maintenance actions.

Execute alternative routing actions on high-priority circuits with minimal turnaround time to prevent mission failures due to lost link conditions on critical circuits, loss of quality video feeds, and loss of essential support services such as secure communications, radar data, and weather data.

The successful candidate must be customer-focused and able to communicate effectively with mission and government partners to ensure accurate assessment of operational impacts and prompt response to priority circuits.

Education:
High School Diploma
