DUTY 1:

Serves as a Cyber Effects Planner, act as a senior subject matter expert on Cyberspace Operations to bridge the operational to tactical gaps and provide relevant support to CCMD planning.

Employs cyberspace capabilities to achieve military objectives or effects in or through cyberspace. Assists with integrating cyber disciplines into the warfighter operational missions. Performs policy development support for full spectrum CO. Employs cyberspace capabilities to achieve military objectives or effects in
or through cyberspace. Plans, recommends, integrates, and executes comprehensive, essential cyber processes, guidelines, and standards for the CO-IPE.

DUTY 2:
Analyzes complex operational, tactical situational awareness processes and cyber systems (security) in order to support mission activities.

Operational and technical military experience in planning, developing, coordinating, and executing United States Air Force (USAF) or other Services participation in Command, Service, Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) and CCMD operations and exercises.

Maintains in-depth knowledge of IT standards, protocols, and methods of exploitation to reduce probability of, and minimize effects by adversaries to ensure an operationally defensive posture of networks and expeditionary communications.


DUTY 3:
Participates in studies, conducts trend analysis and performs other work associated with maintaining maximum combat readiness. Leads complex projects, often cutting across organizational lines to advance integration of CO. Delivers advice and assistance to CCMD to resolve operational problems as they develop in support of the
execution of CCMD, operations, related objectives, and formulation of supporting CO efforts.

Aids the integration by providing guidance, resources, and collaboration to develop best practices and facilitate organizational support for achieving objectives in integrated cyber actions.


DUTY 4:
Represents the functional mission at higher levels within the CCMD. Consults with USCYBERCOM, JFHQ-DODIN, JFHQ-C AF, and other DoD staff and working groups on cyberspace operations and effects. Prepares reports encompassing long and short-range strategy recommendations and presents briefings covering recommendations for future requirements. Seeks out the latest information, industry and other sources on relevant doctrine, directives and policies surrounding military contingency planning. Consults with CCMD enterprise officials and working groups, customers, and other organization personnel on cyberspace concerns.
