Senior Residential Estimator Job Overview

As a Senior Residential Estimator at Atlantic Group, you will play a vital role in driving the estimating process for high-end residential construction projects. With 15+ years of experience in Construction Estimating, you will combine advanced estimating expertise with project management components, ensuring accurate cost projections and seamless project execution.

About the Position:

  • Develop comprehensive estimates for residential construction projects, including detailed breakdowns of materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment between estimates and project goals, maintaining oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare bid packages, solicit proposals from subcontractors and vendors, and evaluate responses to ensure project needs are fully addressed.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks in estimates, presenting findings to senior management for review.
  • Leverage industry-standard software tools like Bluebeam, Procore, and Buildertrend to streamline estimating processes and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in Construction Estimating, with a focus on high-end residential projects.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Procore, Xactimate, and Buildertrend is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location: Boston, MA

Estimated Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000/year + bonus
