Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the financial strategy for the upcoming financing round, collaborating with the CEO and the board.
  • Manage relationships with current and potential investors, venture capital firms, and financial institutions.
  • Prepare financial models, forecasts, and due diligence materials required for fundraising.
  • Negotiate terms and work closely with legal and financial advisors to structure deals.
  • Develop long-term financial strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Analyze financial data, market trends, and business performance to guide decision-making.
  • Create financial models to evaluate new product lines, pricing strategies, and go-to-market opportunities.
  • Implement and refine financial systems, controls, and processes to ensure scalability.
  • Oversee accounting, tax, and compliance functions, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development of financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage cash flow, burn rate, and runway to ensure adequate funding for operations and growth.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as CFO or VP of Finance in a high-growth SaaS or tech company, preferably venture-backed.
  • Demonstrated success in leading a Series A – C fundraising process.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS financial metrics (ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, Churn, NDR, GDR etc.).
  • Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting for a scaling business.
  • Experience with financial systems and ERP implementation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • CPA or MBA highly preferred but not required.
